Reindeer names

I’ve just finished a detailed project based on Clement C. Moore’s “Twas the night before Christmas’ poem, and I’m so intrigued and amazed at how all the details in that poem are still a part of our ‘Christmas culture’ almost 200 years later. He gave Santa’s reindeer their names ( other than Rudolph, who was named by Robert May in 1939), and I love images of the reindeer pulling Santa’s sleigh. So for Lawn Fawn’s ” Use your oldest set challenge “, I knew the deer from “Critters in the snow” from 2010 were what I wanted to use…I also used the Santa hat from “Hats off to you” (2010) and altered the Gnome from “Gnome , Sweet Gnome” to create Santa. The little ‘bells’ are on their harnesses are confetti from the “Ready, Set, Snow” shaker. The deer are colored with copics and fussy cut, and attached to “Stitched Party Banners”(2014). It was such a fun and cute decoration to create!#lawnfawnaticsu

I sew, quilt, cross stitch, embroider. I paint, draw, color, and sculpt! I've been an artist my whole life. I love papercrafting, it's a wonderful medium to create with.
